  • Job Description

    The Primary Care office in Tampa is seeking a Full Time Check Out to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, no holidays or weekends. One year of experience in a medical office is required. The role is responsible for assisting patients and providers at the conclusion of the patient's visit, as well as assisting with answering phones as needed.



    • Assists patients and providers at the conclusion of the patient’s visit
    • Schedules follow up appointments
    • Answers phones and makes appointments as needed
    • Processes charges
    • Collects and processes monies due 
    • Addresses Intergy tasks in a timely manner
    • Answers phones and assists callers
    • Completes the end of day processes


    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Maintains an organized and clean work area
    • Directs incoming faxes and mail to correct staff members
    • Places phones on and off service at the appropriate times
    • Participates in maintenance of office supplies
    • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned


    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Excellent telephone etiquette
    • Basic computer proficiency
    • Strong team player
    • At least one year of medical office experience

    Physical and Mental Demands:

    • Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods
    • Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
    • High level verbal and written communication skills
    • Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously


    Occupational Exposure:

    • Low risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards
