  • Job Description

    The Interventional Pain Management department in Brandon is seeking a Radiology Technologist to work PRN on Thursdays. This role will be responsible for performing Radiology studies within the department, specifically utilizing the c-arm. Candidates must have a valid Radiology Technologist license and one year of experience. 


    • Performs radiographic procedures in the unit, as ordered by the physician
      • Prepares the patient for radiographic procedures
      • Provides instructions to obtain desired results, gains patient cooperation minimizes patient anxiety
      • Follows the standards  for appropriate and safe C-arm use
    • Position patient correctly for high quality views and varies position
    • Retrieves patient from exam room and escorts patient back to exam room when scan is complete
    • Maintains records of patients treated, examination performed, scans taken, etc
    • Evaluate quality of images and report deficiencies appropriately
    • Submit charges for procedure(s) perform
    • Perform incidental duties as needed


    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Current Florida Radiology Technologist license
    • One year of Radiology Technologist experience (specifically c-arm experience)

    Physical and Mental Demands:

    • Normal physical ability; able to stand for long periods
    • Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
    • High level verbal communication skills
    • Above average ability to manage multiple asks simultaneously


    Occupational Exposure:

    • High risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards.
