  • Job Description

    Florida Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced candidate for our Associate Director of Physician Offices opportunity. This position is based out of the Land O Lakes Administration office. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, hours may vary. Candidates must have at least three years of experience independently managing ten or more employees. A background in Gastroenterology and/or procedural medical specialty is also required. Some travel is required with this role.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Staff Management (performance evaluations, disciplinary action, new hire and termination processes, coordinate staffing needs, training, etc)
    • Assist providers and practice sites (setup new offices, arrange for office purchases, arrange training, arrange meetings, etc)
    • Facilitate office communication (provide information flow between supervisors, providers, and staff, handle patient complaints, ensure office compliance, etc)
    • Manage work flows and facility (address issues within the office, ensure offices are clean and safe)
    • Participate in the financial aspect of assigned departments
    • Perform incidental duties as needed

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong computer proficiency (specifically Microsoft Excel)
    • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
    • Ability to plan ahead, organize, and manage multiple priorities
    • Three years of independent management of ten or more employees
    • Background in Gastroenterology and/or procedural medical specialty
    • Ability to travel between offices as needed

    • Routine desk and office activities
    • Ability to move frequently throughout the facility and to sit for long periods of time
    • High concentration and high complexity of decision making
    • High level verbal and written communication skills
    • Above average ability to manage multiple tasks  and projects simultaneously

     

    Occupational Exposure:

    • Low risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards.
